Tips
Hello, everybody!!!!
This time I am writting to share with you what I learned from the HADV1 group I taught this saturday morning. They jotted down nice tips on what to do in different situations. Check it out!!!!
According to Cris and William, when you get a cold you should go to the doctor and rest. It's a good a idea to take some medicine and drink some orange juice.
In case you want to get your hair cut you should find a good hairstylist and analyze the place where he/she works, listen to comments about him/her and compare the prices practiced before making a decision.
Carol and Evanthia told me that in order to get to know someone better you should find out if you share any interests with the other person as well as go out and try to do nice things together.
They also told me that if you want to get something cheaply, you must look for it in different places, search in the classified ads, and as every good buyer, bargain!!!
Angelica and Jin teach us how to get along well with people.
According to them, in order to get on well with people you should be very polite and try to pay attention to what people say, as well as try to find out if you have something in common.
In case you get annoyed at work, you should be calm and try not to lose your temper. You need to get on with your work and try to forget the problems, thinking positively.
Levi and Priscila teach us what to do in case we get stuck in traffic.
According to them, you should sing, listen to music, scream a little, honk your horn and scold a little. You may also start praying. Or maybe, you can sleep.
For those times when you get to work late, you can start crying in front of your boss and beg for your jo. You can also simply sit at your desk and get down to business !!
We all would like to share the collocations with the verb GET that we learned today.
Hope you have enjoyed.
